BUDA, TEXAS — May 9, 2025 — RacFit is pleased to announce that Michelle Stallard will be joining the RacFit team as General Manager. With more than 30 years of experience in racquet sports and athletic program leadership, Stallard brings a steady hand and proven track record to RacFit as it prepares to open later this year.
Stallard spent 15 years as Director of Tennis at Horseshoe Bay Resort, where she led one of the most respected resort tennis programs in the country. There, she was responsible for building and managing a comprehensive tennis operation, including staff development, programming, member engagement, and event execution. Her leadership helped establish Horseshoe Bay as a destination for both recreational players and competitive athletes.
Prior to Horseshoe Bay, Stallard held leadership roles at several well-regarded programs, including Lakecliff Racquet Club, St. Stephen’s Tennis Academy and Barton Creek Resort & Spa. Most recently, she served as Director of Tennis and Athletics for Bush Tennis Center in Midland, Texas.
She holds certifications as a USPTA Elite Tennis Professional, a Certified Health and Wellness Trainer, and a Pickleball Professional through IPTPA. Stallard currently serves on the Board of Directors for USPTA Texas as Treasurer.
“Michelle brings a deep level of experience and professionalism to RacFit,” said Brad Harris, Managing Partner. “She has successfully led both resort and community-based programs, and we’re confident in her ability to shape a welcoming, high-quality environment for our members from day one.”
A former student-athlete at the University of Texas at Austin, Stallard competed as part of the Women’s Tennis Team and contributed to several Southwest Conference championships in singles, doubles, and team play.
“I’m excited to be part of RacFit’s launch,” said Stallard. “I’ve always believed in creating spaces where athletes of all ages and levels feel supported. RacFit’s vision of combining racquet sports, fitness, and community in one place aligns closely with my own approach.”
Reflecting on her career, Stallard added: “My goal is always to build programs that serve the full spectrum—from young beginners to seasoned athletes—and make the sport accessible and engaging for everyone.”
Welcome to the team Michelle!
